Our History:

Wharfedale Kennels & Cattery is a family run business based in Addingham, West Yorkshire, near Skipton on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Our boarding Kennels & Cattery have been open for 54 years, and run by Graham and Christine Airey since 2006. We have established ourselves to be one of West Yorkshire’s premier boarding kennels, providing excellent facilities for both Cats and Dogs.

For more than 50 years our Boarding Kennels & Cattery have been providing Dogs & Cats with first rate care and we have gone from strength to strength over the last 11 years. We love our animals and treat every boarder with the same care and attention we give to our own pets.

Our Staff:

Our boarding Kennels & Cattery are run by Christine & Graham Airey, both keen animal lovers and we have support from our Daughter Louise who runs the grooming business here at the kennels. We also employ a number of full and part time staff who contribute to the work load here at the kennels.

Our Facilities:

When we bought Wharfedale Kennels & Cattery 12 years ago we had a vision of making it one of Yorkshires Premier Boarding Kennels & Cattery. We have a Day Care unit for Dogs which has its own exercise area. The Office and Reception area is where you can drop off and collect your pets away from any bleak weather.

All of our boarding units are clean, modern and provide a great place for your pets to stay when you go away. All of the Dogs are exercised in one of the three large secure paddocks we have made for this purpose. These provide a safe natural environment and all the dogs we board love to run around in the fresh air we have up here on Addingham Moorside.
